London-based designer captures the Great British Summer with three fresh summerwear lines
For their spring-summer 18 collections, Hackett London is journeying from the vibrant city to the coastal retreats of Devon. The SS18 range shows three trends: City Shades, The Great British Stripe and Devon Air.
Hackett London launches the Spring Summer season with City Rhythm, a trend that delves into layering of colour, shape and light found illuminating London’s Mayfair. Reflecting the architecture of Hackett's home city, the colour palette is a summary of soft spring tones made up of sand, stone and grey with pops of aqua and blue.
City Shades showcases the best of Hackett Mayfair tailoring with depth of texture and simple lines. Key pieces include the stone, double breasted blazer made from a wool and silk mix, and the Double bonded contrast mac made from 100 per cent cotton made to be lightweight and waterproof for those inevitable wet spring days.
The Curzon leather range has been adapted for Spring Summer available in a soft beige colourway. Made from textured Italian leather, the collection includes a backpack, holdall, double document case and folio as well as small leather goods.
The Great British Stripe
The Great British Stripe takes design inspiration from lengthy traditions of summer sporting. Contrasting stripes have been layered creating a bold yet quintessential statement. For the more discerning spectator, fine stripes and seersucker is combined with colourful chinos for a relaxed approach to your summer endeavours.
Made up of a bold and primary colour palette, The Great British Stripe is a classic mix of red, navy, white with pops of mint and sky blue.
The hero item is the Blazer. Steeped in sporting history and now a staple in every man’s outfit wardrobe, Hackett London offers a stripe boating blazer, a rowing blazer in navy with contrasting trims, a classic double breasted blazer and seersucker stripe for casual weekend attire.
Complimentary accessories include stripe ties, panama hats and the new Hurlingham luggage collection available in a travel bag and holdall.
Duke + Dexter

Hackett London leads the way with a new range of hand designed patterned swimwear featuring nostalgic seaside icons such as, boats, ice creams, flags and beach huts. Available with matching shirts, this collection takes you from poolside to lunch in a flash and makes packing light and easy.
Made up of washed out colours, hand painted stripes and pops of yellow, orange and coral, the colour palette is refreshing and playful.
