The brand is adding to its existing resorts in Dubai, Greece, Thailand and Turkey
Nikki Beach Hotels and Resorts is almost doubling its global portfolio after it announced it will add three new properties in Montenegro, Santorini and Sri Lanka to its four existing locations.
First on the expansion plan is Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Santorini, which is due to open later in 2019, adding to existing resorts in Dubai, Greece, Thailand and Turkey.
“In its 20th year of operation, Nikki Beach continues to evolve as markets change,” said Lucia Penrod, CEO of Nikki Beach Global. “A year ago, we shifted our focus on reorganising our Hotel Division and the result after one year is three new projects under construction and a deeper pipeline than we have ever had before. Our first beach resort was opened in 2010 in Koh Samui, Thailand, and after nine years, our hotel brand is ready for take-off.”
Alexander Schneider, newly appointed President of the Global Nikki Beach Hotel Division, said the new properties are “a clear indication that the market is truly craving our experiential lifestyle concept”.
All three locations boast specific highlights:
Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Montenegro
The hottest resort in the Balkan country’s top party destination, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Montenegro will be part of a luxury private villa development on a private peninsula in the bay of Budva. It overlooks a marina and the historical old town of Budva, which was founded by the Romans. The town is known for its crystal waters, breathtaking mountains and amazing food and wine. It attracts sophisticated travellers and the ultra-luxury yachting community.
The property will comprise 150 rooms and suites, plus 20 ultra-luxury villas, with three private beaches, a jetty, five restaurants, Nikki Spa and Tone Gym. The brand’s beach club concept, Nikki Beach, will also be integrated into the resort.
Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Santorini
Greek holiday island Santorini, an idyllic location in the Aegean Sea, is one of the most sought-after seasonal luxury destinations in the world, popular with an array of celebrities and high-end sun-seekers.
As the first lifestyle resort with private beach access, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Santorini will consist of 60 rooms and suites, three restaurants and the signature Nikki Spa. It will be the brand’s second location in Greece.
Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Sri Lanka
The most easily accessible new Nikki Beach destination from the Middle East is in the south-west of the South Asian country. Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Sri Lanka will be within a new development on the pristine beach of Balapitiya, surrounded by rolling hills, beautiful backwaters and rainforests.
The property will consist of 200 rooms and suites, with rooftop pools and a 200-metre private beach. Four restaurants and bars will be available on site, alongside a Nikki Spa, Tone Gym and Nikki Beach “integration” into the resort pool.
